This is my mediterranean influenced spice mix which I use to accent meats and fish. I also use it as a blackening spice as a change from a more traditional southern blackening spice blend. (It’s actually really good for blackening salmon, giving a more Mediterranean twist to the flavor.)
Ingredients
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp turmeric
2 tsp thyme
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp coriander
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp allspice
1 tbsp cumin

Combine all of the spices together in a bowl and mix to thoroughly blend.
