Experimenting with Hyrule cuisine has made me a big fan of Goron Spice (or at least my interpretation of it). The sweet and spicy flavor combination compliments meats, in particular, very well. The problem is that it’s a little too spicy for the kids. They like the sweetness and the aromatics of the spice, just not the heat. So, for the little Gorons who need something milder, I created Yunobo spice.
Ingredients
1 tbsp brown sugar
½ tbsp tumeric
½ tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp cardamom
½ tsp ground clove
½ tsp nutmeg
This spice blend can be used in place of Goron Spice in any dish to remove the heat from the flavor profile. Where Goron Spice is sweet and spicy, Yunobo Spice is sweet and smoky.
